Hopefully, I'll be persuasive enough for you to be receptive of why the pushback for this song in particular has occurred to begin with...

Namco Taiko Blog (May 29th, 2025) - The Great Pre-Livestream Overseas Nijiiro Catchup

Loads of stuff getting announced prior to the broadcast happening in two days, including what's on the title as well as a minor update, adding two series songs on Japanese Nijiiro cabs on June 4th.

Four more songs are up to open the returning Summer season, with four more to come two weeks later (and to be revealed at a later date). Haya Saitama and Yuuki 100% make their subscrition return at long last, joined by the upcoming image song for the 5th chapter in WADIVE RECORD's side project as well as the first Taiko-playable chart in Gakuen Idolm@ster, the idol-raising series' latest spinoff. Watch out for that brand-new 10* Ura getting summoned with the latest song deletion rounds, too!

June 5th will also mark the release of a second Touhou Project-themed DLC pack, starring a bunch of cold hits (so cold you might wanna start to freeze frogs) and topped off with the infamous ten-years-after public debut of IOSYS's King of Touhou winning song (more on that here).

Episode 5 of WADIVE RECORD's side project is about to start soon! Under the premise of an adventure based on Kat-chan (who got separated from his sibling for some reason), this WADIVERSE iteration will kicks things off tomorrow with the first of its 4-parter online manga release, to be followed later with character art and the titular MV's release on June 4th, with its song becoming playable in currently-active Taiko games from the day later.

June 5th also happens to be the Nintendo Switch 2's launch day as well, a factoid that makes us want to remember how we keep a tab on the system's retrocompatibility issues web page, from Nintendo's Japanese website. Since we've looked at it last time, we've got about a dozen less games showing off startup issues (122 games still with issues, as of today) but alas, Donderful/Rhythm Festival still appears to be in the no-no zone. Let's see if things will change on that front, moving on...
