Another of the Faith Creation contest's winners and there's a quite specific reason to dive into this song (and believe me, it's not about driving themed corny puns home), but before getting to that -as per tradition- let's meet and greet another couple of artists into the evergrowing Taiko lore!

This Green Version-debuting tune is from another composer whose foot into the proverbial rhythm gaming room was slipped in thanks to BMS-centric contests: the nicknamed Tanchiky (Twitter; YouTube; SoundCloud), already garnering commercial music gaming limelight with two original songs for lowiro's Arcaea (Cybernecia Catharsis; Crystal Gravity) and his infamous ENERGY SYNERGY MATRIX landing on maimai and multiple mobile games (Arcaea included). At this point, I'm used to also link to the artist's official website, if any... but let's just say that it's one tough egg to crack for the time being and leave it at that! Joining this composer is the nicknamed MuMenkyo. (Twitter; YouTube), also known online by the Mumenkyo-kun (むめんきょくん) nickname that was also used for Diving Drive's original contest title submission, as 'Diving Drive feat. むめんきょくん'.

As contest-winning tracks go, it's really hard to leave Taiko Team leader Etou as impressed as he was with Diving Drive, seeing as in his judge remarks he straight-up called it 'a perfect song' with its catchy melody, a never-tiring development and multiple rhythms to nicely bounce off with such a cute singing voice. Apparently, however, the 'perfect' sentiment wasn't entirely matched with the song's makers, as this ending week has also seen the public release of Diving Drive's long version, being posted on Tanchiky's YT channel (link)!

Snickering online players from the Donderful Festival shores might opt picking this one up to have an early upper-hand on opponents due to its "wake-up call" Kat opener scrolling at thrice the BPM pace, but soon enough you'll see how evened-out is the overall chart-playing experience as a mid-ground 10* Oni. We're still nearing the 200 dredge after all, and its handswitching-prone patterns are nothing to slouch around either!
