[NS2] Last Pre-release News Drop on Donderful Festival Official Website

Ten days before the release (2022/09/12) of Taiko no Tatsujin Donderful Festival (NS2) comes the final pre-release update of the official website. We are using the relevant section headers before the jump to clue you in on what's up, but read on for all the details.

Taiko Music Pass Song List Reveal (2/2)
After the first batch (330 tracks) revealed back in August, today's update brings us the rest (253 tracks) of the music lineup for the Taiko Music Pass subscription available at launch, up to a total of 583 tracks!

As of this writing of our coverage, we have got a work-in-progress NS2 Additional Contents page up for your preliminary reference, which includes all track titles translated (but star ratings and video links still pending).

Separately Sold DLC Packs
Taiko Music Pass is not the only way to get additional tracks for your NS2 experience, as already shown in some of the earliest screen reveals. The first batch of separately-sold DLC to be available on release date (2022/09/22) consist of seven packs:
  • アニメパックVol.1 Anime Pack Vol.1 (500 yen +tax / 5 tracks)
  • スタジオジブリパック Studio Ghibli Pack (500 yen +tax / 5 tracks)
  • ドラゴンボール主題歌パック Dragon Ball Theme Song Pack (400 yen +tax / 3 tracks)
  • ワンピース主題歌パック One Piece Theme Song Pack (500 yen +tax / 5 tracks)
  • 初音ミクパックVol.1 Hatsune Miku Pack Vol.1 (400 yen +tax / 3 tracks)
  • 初音ミクパックVol.2 Hatsune Miku Pack Vol.2 (400 yen +tax / 3 tracks)
  • 初音ミクパックVol.3 Hatsune Miku Pack Vol.3 (400 yen +tax / 3 tracks)
Please note that all 27 tracks from these packs are also available through Taiko Music Pass, but purchasing the pack lets you keep the tracks without a time limit (until whatever end to the Nintendo Switch infrastructure, that is). You may want to consider thoroughly which way you want to access these tracks.

Again, further details on the packs are available on our work-in-progress NS2 Additional Contents page (star ratings and video links still pending).
