Alas, lightning did strike twice over here, as impending personal-life issues and a bit of mis-remembrance on my part led me to forget penning about another Taiko song newcomer for a week or so. Time for a full SotW damage-report coverage, pronto!

What is the first of three Pops-related collaborative tracks to come during 2022's earlier months is actually the second piece in Taiko gaming coming from the partnership of two recently-popularity-rising parties: the Vocaloid producer NayutalieN of Taiyoukei Disco fame and the digital AniSong boy band Strawberry Prince (すとぷり), first seen together with the Yokai Watch song Gingira Ginga. About the latter act, it was founded on June 2016 by the leader Nanamori (ななもり。), already versed in the production of song covers and aspiring to gather other online artists to make music together online, with the must of their real-life likelinesses not being revealed online while allowing each of them to cultivate their digital-self personas on their respective video-sharing profiles, alongside the act's official pages. Currently the band counts 5 other members -Jel (ジェル), Satomi (さとみ), Colon (ころん), Rinu (莉犬) and Root (るぅと)- with 3 major albums on their tally, two of them already being certified Platinum sellers no less!

The latest album from the act -2020's Strawberry Prince- is the one to bear today's song at hand first, whose first hearing was made public together with the very first TV announcement of the album's release, performed live on the show TV Numa ni Hamatte Kīte Mita (沼にハマってきいてみた). In a rather curious turn of events, Sukisuki Prince is one of the odd cases in Taiko where a 'song sequel' from public/popular media is made Taiko-playable long before its "progenitor", with the SutoPri/NayutalieN collaboration track Strawberry☆Planet! gracing your nearest Japanese Nijiiro cabinet by this very month's end.

It's a speedy song for your average licensed track needs, but little to no clusters are to be found on its Oni! Memorization plays may also reward newcoming arcade 1st-timers with the repeated stanzas action in play.
