We'll get to pen more about it in the coming days, but the production of official Namco Original DJ set mixes has been on the rise ever since the beginning of the YouTube Taiko no Tatsujin series, with this ending week seeing the release of the second of these as the "Exciting Songs Collection" (乱舞コレクション). After their series debut on Session de Dodon ga Don, both tracks are part of this 10-fold DJ set, too!

Trust Game is the latest original song for the series from the duo of Cross Blue/Break Line composer Masayuki Hasuo (蓮尾理之; Twitter) and the nicknamed singer SaChi/harineko, with the end product being handled by BNSI veteran Murakami Masanobu (村上正信) for the track-down process. Both in its launch game and on the ongoing arcade line, this song has received two title unlocks that are incredibly similar from each other: 'A Long-High Stage That's Easily Crossed' (簡単に越えた長いハイステージ) from the PS4's bingo card completion and 'A Long-High Stage That's Easily Surpassed' (簡単に超えた長いハイステージ) from the arcade Oni FC clear which, judging by the official lyrics text of the song mentioning the 'beyond', might have been a slight typo correction from the original title unlock in the PS4 game.

Whatever the case might be, offbeat and 3/4-beat-stanzas are the name of this (Trust) game here! Especially for deceiving patterns right before the first Go-Go Time stanza to be beat as regular 16th beats while sounding under a 12th beat division (a musical phenomena known as 'metric modulation'), giving an earnest hearing all throughout the song is what will make you land that Full Combo feat home here!

One of the many PS4 series ebuts from the recurring composer/singer duo of Drop and Yura Hatsuki (葉月ゆら), Rurou no Kohaku Hime (lit. 'Amber Princess of Wandering') has graced the arcade versions at first as a seasonal Rewards Shop in the same way as Trust Game, with the latter appearing in Green Version's first rotation (Spring) and the former appearing for its last one on Winter.

We've got another song in a row with unconventional tempo spacing in our hands, only this time it's the 6/8 division and it's commonplace for the entirety of the track! Scary-looking close clusters aside, most of the chart can be aced with a modicum of memorization, which is aided by the stanza repetitions sported in the play.
