The Tenkaichi Otogesai (and crossover music game events for the Taiko series in general) may be long gone for the time being, but each of its participants have had their share of fun in the later years by staking an absurdly-difficult extra challenge on top of some of the original tracks they brought in the tourney craze. It already happened for SOUND VOLTEX's tracks and Groove Coaster's Scarlet Lance in their native grounds, and now it's time for Taiko Drum Monster!

This beast of a Banapassport-exclusive Ura Oni debut sprays a lot of quickfire small clusters to constantly keep up the pace throughout the entire piece, while also not sparing any punches in the jumpscare department with sudden drumroll scrolling and longer note clusters to spare. In select stanza beginning portions in the latter half, you can even out a Nam-combo and 1000-combo threshold in precise portions of the song, if no pregress mistakes were made!
