Originated from Momoiro Version, the Rewards Shop allows Banapassport players to unlock new elements for the arcade play (namely, customization avatar elements and songs) that are not unlockable through the unlocking of selective avatar titles. Previously a service which was exclusive to the Donder Hiroba platform, the Rewards Shop functionalities have been reworked from Yellow Version, making it accessible directly from the very same arcade cabinets and and dividing its catalog into two main different outlets, each using their own currency.
With the generational jump to the nick-named Nijiiro Version, the point-based shopping system has returned into a one-ingame-currency format that only features seasonal rewards on rotation, now aptly renamed as Don Medal Shop. Like for the former system, currency medals are awarded at a fixed amount upon each credit start (10 medals per credit play), although the special collection bonuses (First Play in a day/month/week) are now abolished. All the unlockable content from the former shop iterations that could be obtained with the time-unlimited Katsu Medals are now either permanently available for everyone to enjoy (songs; Taiko sounds) or gated behind alterantive unlockable methods (Taiko avatar customization parts).
