Site Announcement: Taiko Time 10th Anniversary!

Has it already been 10 years already since Lokamp and pikaby began bringing Taiko no Tatsujin info to the English-speaking masses? Well, not yet, because we are starting the Taiko Time 10th Anniversary celebration a bit earlier than the actual date of July 31.

From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for sticking with us for all these years for Taiko no Tatsujin news and content. It is true that PS4 Session de Dodon ga Don and Nintendo Switch Version has had successful official English localizations now, making it easy enough for the western masses to get in without needing additional help. However, we hope our coverage on the latest developments from the Japanese sources (especially on the arcade front, what with the 4th generation in Japan and Green ver. 2.0 in the rest of Asia) and other accompanying materials can help you appreciate the rhythm game franchise even more.

Like previous years, we are holding a few (arguably) fun activities to celebrate with our dear readers in a bid for gratitude. For this year, the lineup will be:

10th Anniversary Quiz from July 22 2020
Our annual tradition lives on! Following last year's booming success (a 2000% increase in participation, compared with two years prior at zero), we are once again holding the quiz as a fun activity with the community instead of a competitive Taiko-knowledge showdown. Ready your Twitter voting fingers!

10th Anniversary Challenge Gauntlet Tournament from July 31 2020
With due consideration of what you have told us about what you want in an anniversary event, we think we have the most creative event design we have come up so far. It will involve you actually playing some Taiko no Tatsujin, against us and everyone else.

Again, thank you for reading, and enjoy the month (plus some) of celebration!
