Before Autumn falls upon us once again, there's going to be a new Nijiiro Version software update on September 7th, one that is bound to bring a few licensed picks from the get-go and to prepare the terrain for that one Ranking Dojo-shaped venue that is about to become complete once more...

Taiko no Tatsujin Themed Namco Arcade Center Coming Soon to LaLaport Sakai, Osaka

While Japanese property development is not our usual field of expertise, we cannot skip the upcoming "LaLaport Sakai" in Osaka opening on November 8 when it expected to host a brand-new Namco arcade center with a Taiko no Tatsujin theme throughout.

Under the tentative subtitle of "Taiko no Tatsujin Everyday is a Festival da-don!" (太鼓の達人毎日おまつりだドン！), the two-storey amusement attraction will be fully decorated with matsuri festival styles from rides to crane game machines. Don-chan and Kat-chan will also see a new design created by festival organizations in Osaka to bring out authentic local tastes.

For those not in Osaka (but still in Japan), you can still get into the celebration when a traditional festival chant common in the Kansai region joins Taiko no Tatsujin Nijiiro ver. in the future:

Round the Festivities with Hololive Idols again: Holomen Ondo for Nijiiro ver. and Plus

Announced in a summery livestream hosted by Hololive Production ahead of their large-scale live show, another recent song from the hololive IDOL PROJECT will join the Taiko no Tatsujin series in late October, this time in both arcade (Nijiiro ver.) and mobile (Plus/STH).

As scheduled, the first of the 3+ new tracks to be featured in the finale of Ranking Dojo 2022 will descend onto Taiko no Tatstujin Nijiiro ver. tomorrow (2022/08/27). While an Ura notechart is slated for its main appearance, it will not be revealed at this point.
