Ten-star Oni songs have always been a nick and a dime under the Nintendo Switch county, with its base game only getting a quartet of songs fitting the bill on Day 1 as unlockables/Uras! One of the four, still exclusive to the game to this day, is today's song on the spotlight as well as one of the final unlocks that Nintendo Switch Version/Drum 'n' Fun can muster.

Modern-day Classic genre highlander Katsuaki Tajima (田島勝朗) from NAMCO SOUNDS arranged under the punny Japanese title one popular polka composition -the Clarinet Polka (Polish, 'Polka Dziadek')- whose origin is rooted to the 19th century's end. Also known in Estonian as the "Vanaisa Polka" (lit. 'Grandpa Polka'), this clarinet melody is typically performeded in B-flat major, with recurring repetitions of its distinctive eight-note arpeggio. To this day, the identity of the Clarinet Polka's author is still a topic of discussion; while the theory of its creation in Austria by the hands of A. Hupfat is still regarded as plausible to the point of giving one of the piece's nicknames (as A Hupfata), others consider its composer to be Karol Namysłowski from Poland, whose Dziadunio Polka that got released as a side-B track for a Chicago polka album in 1915 is regarded by many as the modern Clarinet Polka's ancestor.

Whether version of its origin will be ultimately considered as the true one, its Taiko-tailored arrangement mixes old-timey vibes with more modern instrumental accompaniment, in a clash resulting with many a BPM change throughout the song. With its recurring 1/24-into-1/16 chained clusters and its average amount of note, Clapolpolska comfortably sits in the easier side of the 10-star Oni spectrum, as an easier take on Eikyoku/Gyouan's Oni challenge with less notes in comparison.
