The power of nature may have stopped the biggest Taiko event of the year, but not this weekly corner! (us not being in Japan has everything to do with it) Here's a pick from the last Wii Taiko.

Knitting is fun for some people, and is a natural mood-lifter. Former Namco artist Oogami Masako (大上昌子) is quite an enthusiast, which inspired the composition of a Taiko song about her hobby!
This Namco Original gem made its debut in the final Wii game as one of its default songs, and the lyrics are, as expected, all about knitting and the joys of knitting. Failing a knitting project seems totally fine, as all you have to do is start over, and every moment is fun. That's probably what everyone feels when they're engaged in their hobbies! Once again, seasoned Taiko Team contributor Kuboken (くぼけん) is behind Knitting High's patterns, supplying his 'Notechart Ranger' skills for yet another Oogami Masako tune.
The skippy, bouncy beat of the song is matched with 1/12 note patterns and interspersed 1/24s, which can get quite busy towards the end of the song, like other songs from the 7* Oni range (i.e. Oklahoma Mixer).
