Taiko 3DS 2/Wii U 2- Do You Want to Build Two Snowmen?

Last week we saw a second song from the blockbuster animation Frozen join the ranks of Taiko as a freebie for Taiko no Tatsujin Tokumori. What we didn't know until now is that it's also going to the portable version!

From Taiko Wii U Tokumori's release date until January 31st, 2015, the song Do You Want to Build a Snowman (雪だるまつくろう) will be a free limited song for the second Taiko 3DS game as well. Enjoy this freebie for both console and portable Taiko!

Addendum: In Wii U2-only news, the newest Aikatsu! song Du-Du-Wa DO IT!! is also available as a free DLC, including the Akari Oozora outfit! We also confirms Monster Hunter 4G Medley will include the Brave Cat Series outfit and a brand new MonHun 4G frame than the previous one.

Kimidori Asia: November Facebook Tournament! Dondership!

Keeping talk about removals to a minimum, here are the songs for Kimidori Asia's November Facebook Tournament: Xa Ura Oni and Day by Day! Muzukashii. Good luck on taking on one of the crazier neo-10★ charts, and the newest vocal Namco Original!

In the wake of allegations last month where one of the top rankers might have dishonestly competed, the Team reminds everyone to embrace the spirit of Dondership and keep the tournament fair, which are supposed to be occasions where Donders compete with their own skills fair and square.

The competition period is from November 8~16, and the results will be in on November 19. No special missions this time around, but still do have fun!

Random: Livestream postcards- Audio Deka and Live Song Performance!

For today's entry, we have a couple of Youtube video from a generous user, featuring two of the highlights from the previous livestream session.

Let's start with Audio Deka, the weird Drama-ish segment with Masubutchi and Takemoto having the role of private investigators. Grovel as these two improvised agents try to find out what sort of secret tunes are being developed behind the scenes!

Here's also a video about the latest take on two of Yano Yoshito's most popular songs on Taiko: Soul Calibur II and Boku wa Shinse! The two tracks are performed by Masubutchi on the drums and Yano himself at the keyboard, using a xilophone-inspired custom sound palette.

Shinkyoku Tori Houdai x Puyo Puyo! 15th Anniversary: A Puyo-side Announcement

Yes, I play Puyo Puyo!! Quest, so I have sat through their franchise-wide livestream on October 31. (Thank god it did not crash with the Taiko livestream.) And in it we have this little slide that have something to do with Taiko: Another Taiko no Tatsujin x Puyo Puyo collaboration!

This time around, the collab is with the smartphone app version of Puyo Puyo! 15th Anniversary, the release celebrating the franchise's 15th anniversary (duh). On the Puyo side, a limited collab version of the PP15 app will be released some time in early November. This app will feature Taiko no Tatsujin styled theme stages, with background seeing traditional Japanese vibes and little Don-chans falling as Puyos. So cute!

No news on the Shinkyoku Tori Houdai side yet, but possibly Puyo tunes will be made playable for a limited time. Hopefully we see some newer songs from 15th Anniversary!
