Additional Notes

• Farewell Tracks will not be playable in all modes
• Scores and crowns achieved will be removed from view
• Farewell Tracks will disappear from playlist(s) if previously set
• If a Farewell Track is set as My Battle Track in online modes, the slot will be reverted to the default (Natsu Matsuri)
• Titles obtained from playing Farewell Tracks (e.g. "(track) Lover" from playing the track 30 times) will still be usable even after removal.

Namco Taiko Blog (September 17-18th, 2024) - Sep'24 Livestream Recap + AC October Farewell

A quick one for this week's official blog entries, one concerning last Sunday's livestream (which we've already covered here) and another for one Pops song leaving all Nijiiro cabs next month.

About the former blog entry, however, there's a point we forgot to report on a timely manner: with the World Championship 2024 leaving strong memories for all participants, the people at the helm wanted to make it extra memorable by taking one of the songs that were adopted and have an Ura Oni setting added for the Tatsujin rank! Said mystery Ura will also be released tomorrow (Sept. 21st) in the main songlist, alongside the final Y5 Ranking Dojo and Rewards Shop seasonal update.

Namco Taiko Blog (2024/07/22~25): Nijiiro ver. August Update and Farewell Tracks

Between the peaks of World Championship 2024 and the imminent advent of Taiko arcade in North America/United States, the August update to Taiko no Tatsujin Nijiiro ver. (2024/07/31 in Japan and 2024/08/01 elsewhere) will sure to keep the hype going.

Boku no Hero Academia Collab Campaign: 2024/07/31~09/16

Just before the fourth movie, the popular anime series is collaborating with Taiko no Tatsujin with a two-faceted campaign:

• In-game Item Campaign: Play Tagatame while using a Bandai Namco Passport (or equivalent) to get petit-charas of Deku Midoriya and Katsuki Bakugo
  
  
• Merch Campaign: Two designs of collab keychain (50 each) are up for grabs via lucky draw. Set up your personal campaign page, then play Tagatame while using the QR Code generated on the page to earn points, and spend your points to redeem drawing chance for either design.

...as if we are not having another anime collab one week later, welp.

Rolling in Outfits Campaign Summer 2024: 2024/08/01~

30 outfit items can be yours as long as you play 60 credits of Taiko no Tatsujin Nijiiro ver. using a Bandai Namco Passport (or equivalent) this summer! Taiko Team knows how Donders want new outfit items to spruce up their wardrobes, so at least half of the campaign lineup are completely new to the arcade version.

The unlock requirements ramp up slowly across the lineup; you get one reward every one credit for the first ten, then one every two credits for 11th to 20th, and one every three credits for 21st to 30th.

That there is actually no concrete end date mentioned at this point makes us wonder whether North American/United States Donders can get the tail end when they get their hands on the new cabinets.

Title Fix: Namco's Own Edition

Donders outside of Japan who knows the early days of Nijiiro ver. may know what the state of localization is; not good to put it lightly. Taiko Team is gradually working to bring in more consistency in the English, trad. Chinese and Korean localizations, starting with the 2000 Series in this update.
