???From Vtubers to assorted virtual units, Bandai Namco is diversifying their interest on non-Vocaloid virtual singers with real ones donning imaginary identities, both with simple song shares and more in-depth collaboration campaigns. For the former camp, half-away this May we got three different virtual units having a simultaneous announcement of their latest/most-popular original "signature piece" of the likes coming last Christmas on Japanese Nijiiro arcades. Here's one of those three!
Starting out its YouTube channel operations on August 1st, 2022, the AMPTAKxCOLORS digital act is made out of six singing nembers, whose stage names' initials make together the same AMPTAK acronym: Akkiy (あっきぃ), MAZETA (まぜ太), Pretz (ぷりっつ), Tigusa-kun (ちぐさくん), Atto (あっと) and Ketcha (けちゃ). The six members often post lets play videos on their channel (mostly on Minecraft), but on occasions it also doubles up as the gateway to both covers and original music, starting out in December 2022 with One Week Love and -on Christmas day- the act-named song we're talking about today! AMPTAKxCOLORS (the song) was lyricized by the nicknamed KOUTAPAI while two people were behind its composition: JOE and Tomomichi Imagawa (今川トモミチ), the latter already strong of his experience on idol band/Anime music (mostly for Strawberry Prince and Love Live's Nijigasaki High School Idol Club anime series).
Musical notation around the lead vocals is key for the Taiko-playable take on MAPTTAKxCOLORS's Taiko debut, but don't expect to drum as hard on the quicker vocal lisps pre-chorus; it is a modern 6* Oni, after all!
