Those of you attending our blog alone and not our Twitter account may have noticed the addition of a newcoming, umprompted Classic song in the likes of Nagoya-bayashi (名古屋ばやし) that came out last Saturday alongside the 2nd post-mortem Synchronica transplant of the year. The reason of its coming was also well explained with a sudden blog entry from one day prior, which... regrettably, I forgot to pen about on here as well.
No more time to waste, aye?
Much like for Kawachi Ondo ~Fushi-zukushi~ from last year, the inclusion of this Bon Odori-reminiscent piece is owed to the opening of a brand new Taiko-themed amusement center: the namco Taiko no Tatsujin Mainichi Matsuri Da-don! (namco 太鼓の達人毎日おまつりだドン!), located in Nakagute city (Aichi prefecture)'s Aeon Mall Nagakute.
Much like the amusement area by the same name for the LaLaPort Sakai shopping mall from the last year, the motto of the facility is to bring up the hosting city's culture and historical landmarks with Taiko-flavored festival vibes all throughout, from the facility's key visuals shown on top of this very post down to matsuri stalls all throughout. There's even a section for the younger ones to have fun with festival-styled bumper cars, of all things! The amusement center also has its own personalized page at Bandai Namco's own JP website, complete with contact details and directions/opening times (link).
For the opening of LaLaPort Sakai's own TnT Mainichi Matsuri Da-Don! amusement center, a key song was made playable there first and later on implemented to all nation-wide Nijiiro cabs a few months later; this time around, there's no such thing as Aeon Mall Nakagute's center opened its doors just last Saturday! Thus, the opening-signaler Nagoya-bayashi was made available on Nijiiro cabs everywhere, without the timed store exclusivity. Case closed!
