The sheer amount of recurring names, together with some of the earlier-deleted entries silently coming back, compels us to talk in greater length about the people that are competing from past music gaming glory, but we can't do the lion's share all by ourselves, can we!? Here is a primer of what lies at the end of Faith Creation's first Taiko no Tatsujin song contest:
- Reiwa Core Techno 1980 (令和コアテクノ1980), from DJKurara of Reitouko CJ fame in Taiko. After scoring a contest win with a Taiko Team-fueled submissin, he's back with another speedy techno piece, aiming for the win like the rest of the contestants!
- Meiko (迷光) by ETIA., a BMS artist already author of really iconic songs in SOUND VOLTEX and Arcaea as well as one of of the earliest prominent artists who joined a Taiko song-making contest in the past... but at a loss. Will his latest piece pave the way to his musical revenge?
- Mei o Ugatsu Murasaki (明を穿つ紫。), starring a trio of peculiar artists together. It's not even a full day since our first look on Tezuka's works in our latest Song of the Week and here he is again, joined by Apo11o program of mobile gaming fame (Deemo; Lanota; Arcaea) and vocalist Sennzai of many a singing role amongst Deemo songs!
- Miko ni Rei Chi Zu. (神子に、零ちズ。), by NOMA. You read right, it's the Brain Power guy! The artist joined the competition with a percussion-lead piece, but will it have what it takes for the judges to make the Taiko jump?
- Vixtory by CHUBAY, one of the many pre-credited Taiko song composers whose debut was with a commissioned Namco Original piece that joined this contest with a piece of his own! With such a fierce competition, however, the victory from 'seasoned approval' veterans is anything but guaranteed...
- 9876734123 by Silentroom, whose BMS track Nhelm is making the rounds of Japanese music gaming as of late. Will this sequence of numbers turn out to be the safesail combination to the vault that is the 1st Faith Creation Taiko contest winners or not?
- #Psychedelic Megurogawa (#サイケデリック目黒川), another six-hands labor of love. The composing duo are uma and Morimori Atushi (モリモリあつし), a couple of BMS artists whose popularity along the years has escalated thanks to both their respective solo works as well as their many collaboration/versus pieces. For this contest entry, the two artists are joined by singer Mashiro (ましろ).
