We've had two newcoming Vocaloid songs this week that are not labeled as such in Taiko gaming. Why don't have a Vocaloid-Vocaloid Ura feature, then?

Our third Vocaloid pick for the year, and it's yet another #C.O.M.P.A.S.S. song to boot! Zankyou (lit. 'Reverberation') is the latest Hall of Fame scoring success for its creator: the nicknamed VOCAROCK producer 164 (read as 'Ichirokuyon', イチロクヨン). Released on December 22nd, 2016, this is the theme song for the Attacker character Ouda Takaomi (桜華忠臣) in the aforementioned PVP smartphone game, voiced by Tetsuya Kakihara (柿原徹也). Just like any of the other songs made by 164, both the music and they lyrics of Zankyou's original version flow at 164 BPM, perfectly matching the choice of numbers in the producer's most used alias!
With the removal of Miku Miku ni Shite Ageru and Juumensou from modern arcades, Ame to Petra and this song have become the only ones for the genre with a 6* Oni mode. Zankyou's recipe for the middle-ground-friendly rating is given by repeating note patterns and some note couples scattered along the way to the song's completion.

For a modern take of a rock-styled 9* Oni challenge among the Vocaloid ranks after Yobanashi Deceive, Zanyou's Ura Oni has just the right meld for you, with the same backbeat-based notechart beginnings and 1/24 cluster action spliced in. Worry do not, however- no troublesome, longer 1/24 cluster spikes are to be found on the one!
