Namco Taiko Blog (21 February 2011) - 10 years of Taiko no Tatsujin!

Ten years ago, on February the 21st, a timid rhythm game made its appearance into japanese arcade rooms with its unusual pair of giant drums. And nowadays, ten years after that symbolic day, we are going to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Taiko games!

In order to celebrate the event, the Namco staff has already published a special February wallpaper from the start of the month, available also from our download page. Even the Donder site is restyled for the occasion, but its home page bears something more than a celebrative puropse:

According to the sign, something new will happen after 24 days, on March the 17th. What new surprises hides this new Namco countdown? The Taiko Time staff will track the evolution of this cryptic waiting...
