Just like Isseifuubi from the last month was for its creator, here's another Namco Original made for the series' 20th anniversary song-making project that is also the 10th time its composer -Yuya 'void' Kobayashi (コバヤシユウヤ)- is heard of among Taiko-playable tunes! It's also the 9th work in the series starring the ex-IOSYS vocalist miko, under the lyrics penned by IOSYS circle co-founder Yoshimi Youno (夕野ヨシミ) for the first time in a Namco Original.

The song's theme is about two of the most-known Buddhist temples that have been build during the Heian era, now reimagined as a fearsome beast attacking the city and the sentai squad that is formed to stand against its path of ruination: Kyoto prefecture's Byodo-in temple and the Choju-ji temple from the Kanagawa prefecture. Notecharter sentai Emukepi (えむけぴ) further wanted to solidify the fictional clash with a charting set for all modes with the distinguishing feature of matching the factions (colors) of the adversaries with the Taiko notechart to perform for a more theathrical rendition; make it all Dons if the Phoenix-Don is advancing in the lyrics, flood the stanzas with Kat notes for the coming of the Choju-ji Ga-Katsu squad and mix the two colors when both are mentioned in the lyrics body at the same time. In the introductory blog piece for the song, the resident Taiko charter is so confident in making an iconic chart for this Taiko de Time Travel treat that he's actually inviting Donders everywhere to re-enact the fictional Heian-building bash on social media platforms, by using the #TaikodeTimeTravel (#太鼓deタイムトラベル) handle!

It's easy to see how visually-striking is the end result with the song in motion, but that -quite expectedly- doesn't immediately translate to high-caliber Oni demons to slain, which is the very case of this song. Mind the quick note couples and keep alternating Don and Katsu hits one after another in the mixed portions with the right timing and this one's easy to put in the bag!
