3DS3 Update: The Last Textual Dump Before We Furage

3DS3 releases this Thursday! Before we get to actual (and probably furage) news in the Update Post, let's pick up on some of the last few textual reports on the system.

First is that 3DS3 will not support 3D effects at all, according to a wikihouse commenter checking the Nintendo eShop specifications. While some might come only for the 3D and will probably be discouraged to buy the new game, it has to be said that the 3D effects are not really the main part of the Taiko experience, and the data space can be used in other places of the game, say the vastly revamped RPG elements. Do you think it is a fair trade? Share with us below.

In other news, while it is almost expected at this point to have paid DLC, a free promotional booklet on upcoming 3DS games reveals that there expects to be about 70 paid DLC songs across the year since release, again relayed from wikihouse comments.

  1. That is fair, I don't use 3D much anymawy, so they could gain extra power andupgrade the graphics a bit, by turning down 3D effect, which are useless in taiko gameplay anyway

  2. 70 dlc songs hmmm, well it's only about time to see what songs are,i imagine the 60 or 70% of the songs are from the previous games

  3. Fair trade, 3ds2 suffered from minor performance issues and bugs so if more resources are put into fixing that, it'd be great

  4. ): Well...
I'd like to say that is JUST ANOTHER baka excuse FOR SURE!

    I mean.
I AWAYS USE 3D EFFECT OF MY 3DS!
AND i dont have any problems on my eyes,
I've been played for 3 years more than 2 hours per day without resting,
    in fact,
    IT HELP GAMEPLAY A LOT!
And in TAIKO it helps the player to focus its perception on the notes,
cuz the background its on the back of the image.

I have also played the Chibi Dragon and Jikuu no Daibouken with 3D,
the games looked really great! (:

The only thing that Mystery Adventure have thet the other two have,
is the pyrotecnic effect when in GO-GO Time, and the notes start to move
after the 50 combo (the elements that are missing)
AND NOTHING MORE AND NOTHING LESS!

I really know what in saying!
People who cant see 3D on the 3DS tend to dislike it thinking that
the problem its on the console,
BUT THE REAL PROBLEM ITS IN YOUR EYES! Really!

If u cant use 3d on the 3DS, dont use it! but dont go uck others because of it,pls! (sorry bout that >_< )

Thats is what i think its the REAL problem!
Theyre trying a new interface with the new game,
and got lazy to program the game right, and they think with thenself:

-where on 21th century, ppl have bad eyes and most ppl dont use 3d on 3DS,
so what are we doing? leave it like that!
    -yes! yes!

And thats why most new games on 3DS dont have 3D effect,
becaulse 3ds its on the end of its life, too -_-

Most of the older games use 3D effect spectularly!
    Without excuses! but now...
    thats really sad...

(sorry about the long terxt >_< ) bye!
