evensb (Eve - Nonsense Bungaku)

Two years ago, we've been quite lucky for have the perfect track for the 'after-Christmas' SotW to end them all, but for the 2-days-prior occurrence we've got a greater choice, if *some* liberties are taken! I mean, today IS Christmas Eve, after all...

But rather than indulging in the literary nonsense I put up for corny one-liners, here's what "literary nonsense" appears in music form, according to the very lucky Utaite Eve (いぶ) in his second Vocaloid hit! Born on May 23rd and also known by the Keitora (けいとら) and Kurowa (クロわ) art names, this mid-2000s artist has started making original Hatsune Miku songs as well, with Nonsense Bungaku debuting 6 days prior to his birthday in 2017. Starting with this song and including all the following releases, this is the start of Eve's ongoing consecutive Hall of Legend works streak, piling up an impressive near-4-Million-views of the original Miku song on Nicovideo alone. The self-cover we have playable in Taiko, on the other hand, has scored an impressive 8+Million views on YouTube! Other alternate-vocalist versions of the track also appear in Sega/Craft Egg's Project Sekai Colorful Stage, both with a WONDERLANDSxSHOWTIME male trio cover as well as solos for two of its vocalists, Tenma Tsukasa and Kamishiro Rui.

Project Sekai aside, the track has had its own share of shining moments in the more general music gaming landscape, all revolving atround the Eve self-cover like Taiko gaming did. On bemani fields, it's currently a Nostalgia-exclusive license (link), while Sega, curiously-enough, keeps the Vocaloid-only version a Sekai-only event with the self cover appearing in the maimai/CHUNITHM/Ongeki triumvirate, at different times.

It's a short, DonKat-handswitch-prone and without fancy speed/visual gimmickry on sight, which is your average hallmark for a 7-starred Oni these days. Not much else to say about it, if not for the evergreen advice to just follow the rhythm!
