In short, INSPION's Autumn Audition round is being issued to reward the talent of the best performers under two separate categories: the Master of Vocals and Master of Creativity divisions. For the former, applicants will have to sing to one of INSPION's supplied instrumental bases with a lyric set of their own choosing, while the latter lets everyone express their own talent as best as they can in Youtube video form... no matter what it is! From music instrument performances to dancing, lyricist works, video editing and more, everything is fair game! (as long as common sense and moral-sounding principles are followed, of course)
For the Master of Vocals category, there will be one Excellence Award winner whose song will be ported to the Taiko no Tatsujin series in the future! The winner will also be hired as an INSPION musician, and he/she will be featured in promo videos with both INSPION and Taiko Team-related personalities. Honorable mentions of the category will also make up to be part of INSPION's vocalist enrollment list, if other outstanding vocal performances have been scouted aside from the winner's.
The Excellence Award winners of the Masters of Creativity category, on the other hand, will be invited to an exclusive barbecue party in Tokyo with the audition's three judges: INSPION president/chief sound producer Kuramochi Takeshi (倉持武志), composer/guitarist Daisuke Kurosawa (黒沢ダイスケ) and Taiko Team leader Etou. Honorable mentions will also be credited in a later promo video and -together with the Excellence Award winners- will receive an official INSPION t-shirt.
By following the indications supplied in the audition's official page, contestants can upload their application as a publicly-shared Youtube video, starting from today (October 3rd) until November 12th. All applications from both categories will be judged during the next 4 days, with the winners for both divisions being announced on November 17th, at around 11 am (JP time). The Master of Vocals winner will be called to record the Taiko no Tatsujin-designed track during an arrangeable span of time that goes between November 18th and December 10th, with the finished form being rendered in playable Taiko form sometime during the early 2018 months.
