Despite being yet another 15th Anniversary title, the third Wii U game managed to sell on its release week less packaged copies (both with and without bundles) than other console Taiko game on launch, barely breaking the 10k number of units and -on the sales perspective- going behind even the latest home console release (Taiko no Tatsujin Tokumori!), which managed to sell roughly 2000 more copies on the launch week.
For the record, gaming magazine Famitsu's reviewers have gave the title the score of 8/8/8/8, which is (in the overall score aspect) the same one as Tokumori's global score.
And, since Taiko Time blog admin aquabluu/pikaby spoke on the subject matter on one of our past sales-related posts, we are going to leave you today with a quote of his on this week's sales situation:
"Fact: Nothing will sell better than a Pokemon game or a Monster Hunter game in its launch week. Nothing."
