Emergency blog post by the Taiko Team just a few hours ago. Apparently there's a glitch in the highest two courses, 9 Dan and 10 Dan. Players are unable to get gold level clears on those two even after clearing all the conditions (although their costumes and Dan rank are updated).
This oversight will be fixed in an emergency update very soon.
