Namco Taiko Blog (8 November 2012)- 3 weeks to Taiko Wii 5!

We are exactly 21 days from the release of Taiko no Tatsujin Wii: Chogouka-ban! (does Namco pick Thursdays for launch days on purpose just so they have something to fill the official blog with?) Today's entry being about the game, is a simple interview with the game's producer, Tomoki Matsumoto (松本 智貴).

So, the first question asked! What makes Taiko no Tatsujin Wii: Super Deluxe Version deserve its 'super-deluxe' tag?

There are three points here: One, the unprecedented large songlist of (over) 100 songs! (Yep, Matsumoto added a few songs secretly). Two, the giant minigame parade in the new mode '瞬間爽快!どんちゃん騒ぎ', which has over 30 minigames, both old and new. Three, the other features which make a return. Both Taiko Classroom and Tsumamikui Ensou (Guide Mode) from Taiko Wii 4 will be continuing their runs here on Wii 5, together with another big wardrobe of costumes! That's how deluxe this super-deluxe game is!

Next, which song does Matsumoto think is the hardest?

Matsumoto can't play anything above 9* Oni, sadly. But he does express appreciation that one of the old charts he made is going to be in the game, EZ DO DANCE in the J-Pop genre.

That's his hardest song ever. Speaking of hardest song ever's though, Matsumoto has made another chart which he hopes many players will think of as their 'hardest song ever'. But that song....is a secret one! Have fun unlocking it!

And then some points of the minigame mode and Matsumoto's team experience whole test playing the games and their favorite parts of it.

Well, again the release date is November 29th this year, just three weeks off! Can't wait!
