First Video - CreoFuga 2015's Last Warriors

Today we finally wrap up the third cycle of CreoFuga's Taiko contest winners, as the final quinted from the 2015 event have joined White Version's song list with today's update.

Reach us after the jump for the full display on the latest Namco Originals!

Netemo Netemo (ネテモネテモ) ☆Shoji☆ feat. Honoka♡Erika (3/6/6/8; 550 notes on Oni)

This post's top video is Shoji's winning song, which has been drastically changed from its originally-submitted contest version with female vocalists (HONOKA a la Love Fantasy, and Erika Kaiho a la Tokyo Tokkyo(ry and Princess of Donder) and a speedier tempo! This translates into its Oni notechart turning into a lookalike challenge degree to former CF winner Koi no Shohousen.

Hiyoko Fantasy (ひよっこファンタジー) Tsuyomi (5/6/7/9; 583 notes on Oni)

Up next is today's other female-enhanced composition from Tsuyomi, which is rated slightly harder due to slightly more uplifting cluster formations and selected scrolling speed variations before the chorus.

Reitouko CJ ~Amen Taiko Brothers~ (冷凍庫CJ ~嗚呼面太鼓ブラザーズ~) DJKurara (5/7/8/10; 787 notes on Oni)

The rest for today is a 10-star Oni parade, which we're starting with the shortest (and possibly hardest!) track of the trio. Quite possibly the Hurtling Boys of the tourney, DJKurara's creation shows off its aggressive BPM with some of the most dense note cluster sections among the 2015 CF winners, topped with scrolling speed changes and 1/24 cluster trickery.

(And yes, the voice samples in there are from Taiko Team members talking about Norudon 2000 in the past livestreams)

Gloria K. Key (5/7/7/10; 888 notes on Oni)

Titled after the Latin/Italian word for 'Glory', K. Key's song on Oni mode exploits a similar yet easier blend from the previous song, while also making room for the highest number of notes among the newcomers. Watch out for the final killer note stream!

Asagao (アサガオ) BTB (4/5/7/10; 765 notes on Oni)

Last in line is the sole not-Japanese winner from the past CF contest, whose Oni mode is also rated to the maximum value. At the risk of repeating myself, the same notechart gimmicks of the other 10* couple are clear in check on this song, whose Goroawase value respect makes it placed the lowest on the note count point among the three.

  1. I actually have a strong feeling "Reitouko CJ ~Amen Taiko Brothers~ is an homage to a pretty obscure mashcore artist, Reizoko CJ (who started in 2011) by DJKurara, seeing how this matches his/her music style perfectly. (Don't believe me? Check out some of this tracks. Examples: CirnoRHTL, All your base are belong to ME, /a/, You're gonna love my nuts)
