[COLLAB] - Cirno's Perfect Music Game Collaboration

Before our usual launch-day song dump for Yellow Version, a new multi-arcade Touhou-related collaboration is already brewing in the air! Due to anniversary means, it will star everyone's favorite freeze-addicted fairy, no less...

Touhou music doujin IOSYS's always-popular Cirno's Perfect Math Class is turning 9 years old in 2017, resulting into a barrage of special events and merchandise that is planned to span all across the year... There are so many operations planned, in fact, that we are mostly obliged to link to you the maru9.jp website for the full skinny.

With that out of the way, how does it translate to the rhythm gaming scene? It turns out that a sequel song to the popular Touhou arrange hit is already in the making, titled Cirno's Perfect ⑨ Celebrity Year (チルノのパーフェクト⑨周年イヤー)! Much like for last year's Senshaku Zesshou no Fantasia, this song is the end result of multiple music-oriented doujins working together, with 5 of these already known in Taiko lore in some way or another (IOSYS, Yuuhei Satellite, A-One, Butaotome and COOL&CREATE) and the last two marking their Taiko debut with this collaboration (TaNaBaTa and Alternative ending).

According to this infographic from the collaboration page, the song is scheduled to roll out in both the Taiko no Tatsujin and Synchronica series this very year, with event previews scheduled for this year's editions of the Nico Nico Chokaigi (April 29-30) (Synchronica only) and the Hakurei Shrine Reitasai (May 7). While currently not scheduled for other limited releases, Cirno's Perfect ⑨ Celebrity Year will also come to the latest versions of Groove Coaster (GC 3EX Dream Party), maimai (maimai MURASAKi version) and Chunithm (Chunithm AIR PLUS).
