Namco Taiko Blog 2 (3 December 2015) - White Version Livestream's Last Details

2015/12/5: Fixed that the Official MyBachi is on location test, meaning you can test play with it but not yet available to buy them.

Continuing from last week's announced schedule, the Taiko Team is ready to talk about the rest of the special content that is currently planned for next week's livestream session.

Starting from the basic stuff, the link on Nicovideo is finally ready to be shared! Click here to join the action when time will come.

Name the Taiko Mouse Drummer!

Do you remember the mouse character that is appearing in Studio Ghibli's Taiko short that was made for the series' 15th Anniversary? The little guy hasn't got a name yet, so the Team and the streamers will put their heads together to come up with the perfect one.

Namco Original Live Performance!

As subtly hinted by the previous blog entry, this livestream's guests will perform some of their songs live, with the Taiko Team members providing the musical basis. In order, here's what everyone will perform for 2015's last Taiko livestream:

  • Tanqun Democracy / Natsumono★
  • HONOKA / Love Fantasy (恋幻想(Love Fantasy))
  • Sariya-jin / Marble Heart & Zero no Nocturne
  • Haruko Momoi / I my moko & Wonder Momoi
  • Taku Inoue / Ten Bin-za Kyuko Yoru o Iku (てんびん座急行 夜を行く)
As you can see, some of White Version's newest songs will be performed live before their launch! There's something for everyone to enjoy.

Official Taiko no Tatsujin Bachi Announcement!

A new official item is going to be put on sale by Bandai Namco, and the Team will also digress a bit about it. The Taiko no Tatsujin Official MyBachi (太鼓の達人公式マイバチ) are the first officially-licensed drumsticks for Taiko gaming that are going to be put up for location test at the Namco Lazona Kawasaki store (available right from today!), and the Team will delve into their properties and capabilities.

Idolm@ster Must Songs Introduction Corner!

Etou and Masabutchi, joined by notechart sentai member Kuboken, will introduce the twin Must Songs titles for PS Vita which, much like White Version, are going to be released the day after the livestream's broadcast.

Together with this corner, the livestream itelf will award some autographed Im@s merchandise to a few lucky viewers, featuring the signatures of series voice actresses Eriko Nakamura (中村繪里子) and Asami Imai (今井麻美). The method of joining the lottery will be communicated during the livestream, but chances are it's going to be the same one of the past few livestreams: one mysterious word to type, whose letters are being gradually revealed during the broadcast's run.

Livestream Comments Challenge Goals Revealed!

The rewards for the four goals are now up! 10k comments will give the usual Twitter/Smartphone wallpaper combo, 30k comments will bring in the also-usual free title part (decided by the audience during the stream), 50k comments are delivering a Taiko no Tatsujin Atsumete Tomodachi Daisakusen papercraft and 76.5k comments will unlock four limited-release tracks on White Version, from the release day to the end of the year. The songs involved are Variety Jingle Bell No.765, Game Music Dragon Spirit Medley and the Namco Original couple Hyakki Yakou/X-DAY2000.
