Another popular Classic arrangement by Masubuchi Yuuji (増渕裕二), Minuet originates from a well known German keyboard piece. The Minuet in G major was taken from a harpsichord suite by Christian Petzold (1677-1733), a Dresden organist and chamber composer.

The Minuet was discovered in the 1725 Notebook for Anna Magdalena Bach, where it appears with its companion piece, Minuet in G minor, as a pair to be looped after the first execution (or, in musical terms, to be performed 'da capo'). Said notebook, owned by the second wife of the most known composer Johann Sebastian Bach, is a compilation of music by various composers of the late 17th and early 18th century, also including some of his husband's works and a few anonymous ones. Petzold's Minuet was one of these, but it was erroneously attributed to Bach until 1970 for the pairing with the other Minuet.

A rock arrangement of this keyboard piece was featured in the 10th Taiko arcade first, and then followed by a pair of console releases. Despite of the song's low BPM, Minuet's Oni notechart offers a thrilling mixture of different spacing signatures during its two Go-Go Time sections, from 1/16 to 1/12, also with some nasty, denser 1/24 clusters. Even the more 'regular' 1/16 clusters featured in the rest of the song can be quite awkward when aiming for a Full Combo on this one, simply because the beats throw you off many times.
