Namco Taiko Blog (20 January 2011)- Mitsubachi Daisakusen song lyrics

Remember the honey bee minigame in Taiko Wii 3? It had a really ear-wormy song playing in the background, and this wasn't playable in the main game, which also makes it one of the first time a song placed in a Taiko disc wasn't used to play Taiko. Such a pity, it's a nice song...Oh well. Maybe at some point they'll make this song official.

Composer, lyrics: YMY

I'll get to translating as soon as I have time.

  1. It's like they purposely want to get the song stuck in our mind, with having to play the minigames to unlock songs...

  2. My kids have been singing just the chorus all day long; I had to download the
whole song to help get it out of my head. Here's a translation of the lyrics:

    Honey! Hey! Honey! Hey!
    Honey! Hey! Honey! Hey!
    Whoa!

Honey honey honey is [English for] honey: I'm telling you it's really sweet
Honey honey honey is [English for] honey: it's not just the sugar content
It makes your skin smooth, and gets rid of fatigue
It's full of vitamins, and good for your body

The honeybee is an insect - there are 9 species worldwide
The honeybee is an insect - the males don't do any work
Only a female that eats the royal jelly
gets to become the queen bee, that's what they say

Honey honey, honey honey, honey honey, honey honey,
Honey honey, honey honey, honey honey, honey honey,
Honey honey, honey honey, it's honey!
